What kinda SUV is that? Honestly, there’s a lot of similarities between designs of competing brands. Consumers might bemoan the lack of deviation and a sense of homogenization in the offerings. On the other hand, models that are out of step in terms of style compared to what’s the soup du jour are often relegated as second choices by buyers. This can be attributed to our herd instinct that’s baked into our DNA. Buick got dinged from this in the past, despite having solid products, but the 2025 Buick Enclave Avenir is aiming to change that. The Enclave now has less of an over-inflated look compared with the prior generation and it features a leaner, sharper image.

It’s not every day that a Koenigsegg is relegated to a quiet dark corner at an automotive event. Justifiably so, as Aston Martin was prominently displayed as a supporter of the newly formed Formula GT in a launch event at a private club in the heart of Beverly Hills.

Wedge Issues Invade The 73rd Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

A modern version of the best car-judging show known throughout the world, the Concours d'Elegance held on the Monterey Peninsula of central California along the 18th fairway at Pebble Beach golf course was riddled with wedge issues through the introduction of a design form as a classification.

The Wedge, once seen, fully understood. Two classes were introduced for the first time highlighting this line of design and innovation - V-1: Wedge-Shaped Concept Cars & Prototypes Early & V-2: Wedge-Shaped Concept Cars & Prototypes Late.

Following the tumult created through our civic response to the threats perceived from an experimental virus that escaped from a lab in Wuhan China, the resumption of, after a protocol three year pause due to COVID-19, the Los Angeles Sportswalk Of Fame presentations were held October 9th, 2023, amid a great and anticipatory crowd primarily of folks local to San Pedro.

The latest exhibit that opened on September 25th at the Petersen Automotive Museum displays various vehicles used in the twenty-six James Bond movies.  The exhibit titled "Bond In Motion" had been on display at the London Film Festival from 2014 and now allows North American visitors a rare up-close experience with some of the most iconic vehicles associated with the world's most famous secret agent, 007.  The exhibit celebrates the 60th anniversary of the James Bond films since "Dr. No" was released in 1962.

This year's edition of summer activities at Monterey Bay represents the 70th year of a group of events that helped to create Monterey Car Week - The Pebble Beach Concourse de'Elegance/Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.

Two special non-race exhibitions were featured participant-groupings at the 2021 post-Wuhan Virus lockdowns and protocols Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. The Ragtime Racers Group 4B and the Group 7A: 1963-1978 IndyCar Historic gathering.

The Petersen Automotive Museum has opened a new exhibit located in the Mullin Family Grand Salon on the first floor, set to run through March 15, 2020, titled “Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy.”  This exhibit (over 50 vehicles from 30 production and studio resources, included with The Petersen's own ample collection) is the largest museum exhibition of sci-fi vehicles in the world, and is highlighted by automobiles, costumes, props, and original blueprints from classic and modern-day film series and video games such as "Back to the Future," “Transformers,” “Iron Man,” “Mad Max,” “Halo,” "Knight Rider" - KITT, "Man From U.N.C.L.E." - AMT Piranha, and much more.

Historic Motoring Awards Names Mullin Automotive Museum 
2021 "Museum/Collection Of The Year"

The Mullin Automotive Museum has announced that it is the recipient of the 2021 Historic Motoring Awards title of Museum/Collection of the Year. The naming announcement came during the awards ceremony that took place at the Rosewood Hotel in London, England on November 18, 2021. This is the museum’s first win. It is the second Historic Motoring Award for Mullin founder and CEO, Peter W. Mullin, who won the Personal Achievement Award in 2016.
